August 6, 13, 27
September 3, 10, 17, 24

Join us through September for plein air painting on the gallery grounds. This is a non-instructional meetup open to all mediums, skill levels, and ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Our doors will be open for artists to use our facilities and to gallery visitors.

Bring your art supplies, whatever weather gear you’ll need to be comfortable, and snacks!

RULES

  • Registration required. Suggested $5 donation per meetup.

  • Please set up only within the areas designated on the map below.

  • Parking is available in front of the gallery, in the back lot (except behind the rope barrier, which is reserved for lobstermen), and along Lindsay Road on the river side. Spaces are extremely limited so we encourage and appreciate walking, biking, and carpooling when possible.

  • Children are allowed but must be responsible and accompanied by a watchful adult.

  • Carry in/ Carry out. Please be respectful of the landscape and others who enjoy this area and pick up after yourselves. Art supplies (used rags, paint, solvents, etc) may not be disposed of or stored at the gallery. Brushes may not be rinsed in the gallery sink or outdoor spigot.

  • Artists may use the gallery bathroom.

Setup is allowed within the highlighted areas during Wednesday meetups only, and for registered participants only. Artists must request permission to use this space outside of Wednesdays listed above. The wharf and parking spaces behind the rope barrier are strictly off-limits. Please contact the gallery with any questions.

Thanks to Old York Historical Society for allowing use of the Hancock Warehouse lawn for these meetups.
