Infinite Imagination is a workshop for writers, secret poets, and anyone curious about language as a creative material. Whether you are a poet, a journal-keeper, or someone who secretly longs to write, you’ll find a playful, welcoming space to explore.
Inspired by Laurie Anderson’s words — “I’m an artist because I want to be free” — we’ll use visual art to spark ideas, and we’ll explore improvisation as a creative method. Through inventive prompts, guided exercises, and short readings, you’ll experiment with language as material, find inspiration in the gallery, and enjoy the shared energy of a creative lab.
You’ll also gather a small folio of beginnings — fragments, images, unexpected turns of phrase — to carry home and tend in your own time. More than anything, you’ll leave with a renewed sense of possibility, a loosened hand, and the feeling that language can set your imagination free.
