I studied at Colby College and majored in studio art with a minor in environmental studies. For the past few years, I have been traveling and painting along the Maine coast in my cedar mobile camper and art studio named, “The Beehive’’ that I designed and built from Maine cedar. In my latest work, I continue to be drawn to the cyclical and seasonal changes of place with a desire to create series and collaged paintings that are both calm and chaotic. I hope to show that no place is ever really the same day-to-day. The changing coastline and intertidal zones continue to be my main source of inspiration and communion with the land beneath my feet.
