Nine photographers locate the timeless in contemporary New England, inspired by the work of pioneering American photographer, Paul Strand. The show reprises Strand’s seminal book of images of pre-1950’s New England (Time in New England) and seeks out present-day fingerprints of that particular place and time. Images of architecture, people, and social and natural landscapes carry forward the rich and unique history of one of the oldest parts of our country. Black and white photos of these enduring subjects are presented as a single, traveling collection.
